We’re excited to announce the newest member of The Partner Channel team! Bethany Foyt has joined The Partner Channel to continue helping Microsoft Dynamics Partners in a whole new way.
After almost four years of helping technology Partners implement and execute their marketing plans and managing content programs, such as blog and case study writing while at The Partner Marketing Group, Bethany has developed a keen knowledge of the Microsoft community as well as in the technology industry. As a writer, she has also put herself in the shoes of prospects and customers, developing insight into industry pain points and key benefits of Microsoft solutions.
We sat down with Bethany to share a little more about her with you…
How long have you been working with Partners?
Since 2006. I began working at Microsoft right out of college, managing programs like Ramp and Ready, Jumpstart, and the POC program while on the Partner Development Team. I then joined The Partner Marketing Group in 2009 where I created everything from blog articles to customer case studies for Partners to use in their marketing.
What’s been your favorite interaction with Partners over the years?
I have loved being their ’go-to’ writing resource to get their marketing messages across. Many of the Partners I’ve worked with haven’t loved to write, so being able to take that burden off their shoulders while developing content that brings prospects to their door has been very rewarding.
What do you enjoy most about the Microsoft Dynamics community?
It really is a tight-knit community with a very wide range of personalities and expertise- always something new to learn and new people to meet at events year-round!
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?
These days, I love spending time with my daughter, Evelynn (15 months) and husband, Eric. When time does allow, I also enjoy playing volleyball, reading, writing (poetry, children’s books, journaling), and cooking.
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I’m excited that I’ll be continuing to help Partners, yet in a very different way. For example, The Partner Connections Event and the quarterly Partner Channel magazine are such great resources that keep the Microsoft community as tight-knit as it is. Being a part of something that connects such a huge community makes me want to jump out of bed in the morning!
