May 25, 2017:  Lucas Cahoon has joined the team at DFC Consultants, Ltd. as an Accountant/Consultant. He will be assisting customers with their accounting needs. Cahoon has 4 years of accounting experience and most recently worked for Western Products. He holds an accounting degree from University of Minnesota, Crookston.

Julie Hagen has joined DFC Consultants as a Business System Analyst and Solutions Consultant. She will be helping customers improve their business processes with automation and software. Hagen has over 20 years of experience and most recently worked for Microsoft. She holds a degree in Mathematics Education and Computer Information Systems from Mayville State University.

April 12, 2017SBS Group announced it is now an indirect provider through Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program. Formerly called a Tier-2 Distribution Partner, an indirect provider connects Microsoft and resellers of Microsoft’s cloud solutions including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft PowerBI, and Microsoft Dynamics 365. The CSP licensing model helps companies sell Microsoft cloud solutions to their customers. April 12, 2017SBS Group has announced the partner tiers for their new Stratos Cloud Alliance program. SBS Group is designated as an indirect provider through Microsoft’s Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program. Formerly called a Tier-2 Distribution Partner, an indirect provider connects Microsoft and resellers of Microsoft’s cloud solutions including Dynamics 365. Technology partners will be able to partner with SBS Group to help ease the complexity of selling Microsoft solutions. It occurred to me when my 16-year-old son brought home his AP English book, “Thank You for Arguing: What Aristotle, Lincoln, and Homer Simpson Can Teach Us About the Art of Persuasion” by Jay Heinrichs, that I was in trouble. Big trouble. My curiosity on the art of arguing, and my survival as a parent of a teenager, resulted in research on the art of arguing. The research included reading articles, reviewing the great philosophers’ perspectives, asking my friends (which was such an interesting experiment), and practicing on my family (mostly my husband).
