Marketing seems to get reinvented and redefined more than any other business focus. I know you’re thinking “spoken like a true marketer”. Just hear me out. My experience is minimal in comparison to those veterans of marketing who seem to have all the answers and remember the days before the internet and back when a direct mail campaign could get you exponential ROI. I have, however, been around long enough to witness not one shift, but many shifts in messaging trends and email do’s and don’ts’ and search engine ‘optimization’ or whatever the new term they call it is.

Over the course of the past nine months, The Genius Series students underwent rigorous online training on topics, such as video marketing, list management, budget planning, sales and marketing alignment, and more. In addition to the wisdom they’ve acquired, this group of marketers has built a long-lasting comradery to share ideas and best practices while they continue on their marketing journeys.

When I joined The Partner Channel in 2013, I knew my values aligned perfectly with the company’s mission from the start. I’ve always had a passion for community and am proud that The Partner Channel strives to offer that up in every resource we provide.Community Quote

This is especially the case with our new offering, The Genius Series. The six students we have participating in this year’s class have already amazed me beyond all my expectations. Even though we’re not at the same event or in the same room, connecting virtually is giving us all a new-found sense of community in the often crazed and impersonal world we live in daily.

Lindy Belley from Integrity Data shared this after last month’s class: I seriously get a boost of energy after we have our meetings. I finally had the desire to put creative planning and thought into the webinar follow up campaign I’ve been mentally working on for months. Felt like I accomplished something useful and forward-thinking.”

As the blog article states, “Memorable promotional emails are a dime a dozen- and yet, how memorable an email is correlates strongly with whether or not recipients forward it to others or share it with their social networks.”
