I recently had the opportunity to attend a partner event as an “observer” assigned to bring back with me some best practices to apply in our own partner ecosystem. I had never attended the event before and wasn’t even certain that there would be best practices to return with and share, but fortunately this ended up being a successful event in my eyes and I did indeed glean some valuable insight, while having fun in the process. Here are several areas that I thought the organizers excelled at, making attendees feel included and expected, all of which fostered event intimacy for the partners:
