The Partner Channel teams up with Dynamic Communities, Inc.

By Bethany Foyt

We have partnered with Dynamic Communities on their User Group magazines, programming, and events since 2007, and now is the time to bring these organizations together to better serve the Partner community.

With this partnership, The Partner Channel’s offerings – The Magazine, The List, The Genius Series, the Marketing in the Dynamics Community reports, and the Membership Rewards Program – will now be delivered as part of the Dynamic Communities portfolio.

For Partners, there is not much change with regard to the way you’ve interacted with The Partner Channel. Jane Olson will continue to work with Partners who secure display advertisements and participate in The List. Bethany Foyt will continue to run The Genius Series in addition to assuming an editorial role for the magazines.

Jasmine McNellis and Jenny Davis will not move forward with future operations.

Jasmine was the coordinator of the membership program and advertising agreements. She is departing The Partner Channel to pursue her next opportunity. We wish her the very best and thank her for years of wonderful service to Partners.

Jenny Davis, will focus solely on the event consulting and project management work that she has done in tandem to The Partner Channel since 2004.

“Having a solid partner in Dynamic Communities enables me to make this step knowing that it’s the best possible scenario for what The Partner Channel has created for Partners,” Jenny Davis shares, “My goal for The Partner Channel has always been to provide value to Partners. This partnership will help provide value to Partners and their companies at personal, professional, and organizational levels.”

The List at UG Summit 2017

By Bethany Foyt

It was such a pleasure to exhibit at this year’s User Group Summit in Nashville. It marked our third year being in the expo, sharing The List with users to help them navigate the vast sea of Microsoft Dynamics add-ons.

I was extremely impressed with the Jenga knowledge throughout the Dynamics community and in addition to educating The List ladies about the rules, many users tried their hand at searching The List for specific add-ons while in the expo. So much so that our traffic saw a 60% increase over the average visits we usually get in a week!

Here are some of those users and even some Partners enjoying their time in our booth. Thank you all for stopping by and for using The List Mobile.

Don’t forget that The List gets updated each quarter and to receive a heads up on those updates, make sure to sign up for The List Alerts.

By Bethany Foyt

Dale Haines

Socrates

Because I believe as he did, you must question and examine what you know as if you know nothing in search of truth and what is right.

DAVID GERSTEN, VP of Sales and Marketing at Bond Consulting (www.bondconsultingservices.com)

Elon Musk

Because he is not only an Entrepreneur but he is also an engineer, investor, and inventor. I add the concept of Futurist too. His forward-thinking about technology advancements are to align the rest of others. Others may fail and give up. Elon Musk may fail but he never gives up. Making the world a better place for the next people is a very humbling position to be in.

LAURIE JOHNSON, Sr. Marketing Communications Specialist at JetReports (www.jetreports.com)

Carl Sagan

Because he brought honest, scientific answers to complex questions. More importantly, he found a way to communicate and connect with people and by doing so, was able to challenge preexisting thoughts and beliefs through factual data. He wasn’t afraid to admit what he didn’t know and remained curious and open to the world around him all while sharing his knowledge. Sagan said in his last interview that “Science is more than a body of knowledge. It’s a way of thinking, a way of skeptically interrogating the universe with a fine understanding of human fallibility.” I hope that after attending this course I can share my newly found knowledge with anyone who is interested.

Rod O Conner

ROD O’CONNOR, Owner at Briware Solutions (www.briwaresolutions.com)

Having built a career around ERP software, including time as a consultant, an end user, in IT, and in Accounting, Rod started Briware Solutions to help growing companies solve their business process problems by making the most of their systems and their teams.

shawna

SHAWNA SHARMA, Marketing Manager at Qixas Group (www.qixas.com)

Steve Jobs

He was a leader and a visionary who had an idea and kept working on it despite being faced with a lot of criticism and failures. I think the drive and passion he had was admirable. He has changed the way various industries work. For example, Music, Entertainment, Telecommunications, IT. Because of his inventions, humans have transformed their behavior. The way we engage with each other, the way we communicate, the way we work and even the way we think and live.

TARA GRANT, VP of Marketing at JetReports (www.jetreports.com)

Oprah Winfrey

Because everything she touches turns to gold and she seems to effortlessly balance humanitarianism with media magnate genius. Who doesn’t love Oprah?
